Meet Isidor

Meet Isidor, the guide through the Intranet of our client Haus der Barmherzigkeit! The character is inspired by Isidore of Seville, one of the most important writers and scholars of the Early Middle Ages, who is also considered the patron saint of the Internet. The major challenge in designing Isidor was to avoid making him look like Saint Nicholas, who is known for bringing gifts and chocolates to children in Europe on December 6th. In addition, our client requested a companion for Isidor. The owl was chosen, as it is often associated with wisdom and knowledge, making it a natural fit as a sidekick for a guide through the Intranet. Furthermore, the owl reinforces Isidor's role as a knowledgeable and trusted guide, helping users navigate the complexities of the Intranet and find the information they need.
